The Geophysical, Climatology and Meteorology Agency (BMKG) has withdrawn the tsunami warning following small rise of waters in Tasikmalaya.
The agency's spokesman, Suharjono said that the sea level in Tasikmalaya had increased to only 20 centimeters when the 7.3 Richter Scale-quake jolted the regency on Wednesday.
“We issued a tsunami warning after the quake but withdrew it later after some observations,” he said as reported by kompas.com
